          Create Products for Enhanced Model

          Product master data is imported from an ERP system. Use the Product module to create additional product records.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create customer conditions:

          CGCloud Sales User

          OR

          CGCloud Retail Sales User AND CGCloud Retail User

          1. From App Launcher, find and select Products, and then click New.
          2. Select a record type, and then click Next.
          3. Provide these details:
            Field Description
            Identification
            Product Name Name of the product.
            Category Category of the product.
            Competitor's Product Indicates if a product is competitors' product. Competitors' products are relevant for product surveys during calls.
            Product Template Template to create the product. You can select from all active product templates.
            Consumer Goods Product Code Unique identifier of the product. Interfaced from an ERP system.
            Product Short Code Identifier of the product. Interfaced from an ERP system.
            Product Type

            The options are:

            • None
            • Commodity
            • Service
            • Advertising Material
            • Empty
            • Asset Type
            GTIN Global Trade Item Number of the product. Interfaced from an ERP system.
            Tax Classification

            Tax classification of a product. Interfaced from an ERP system. Use this information to find conditions for price calculation of orders. The options are:

            • None
            • Normal
            • Reduced
            • Full
            State

            State of a product. The options are:

            • None
            • Preparation
            • Plan
            • Check
            • Startup
            • Active
            • Paused
            • Phase Out
            • Remainders
            • Passive
            • Deleted
            Asset Template Asset template associated with a product. You can select from active asset templates that belong to the same sales org as the product.
            Criteria
            Product Level

            Definition of the product hierarchy. The options are:

            • Category
            • Sub Category
            • Brand
            • Sub Brand
            • Product Price Group
            • Product
            Pack Size Number of product units in a pack.
            Pack Size Unit

            Unit size of a packet of a product. The options are:

            • None
            • pk
            • box
            Product Form

            Form of the product. The options are:

            • None
            • Solid
            • Liquid
            Container Size Amount of product in a container.
            Container Size Unit

            Unit size of a container of a product. The options are:

            • None
            • oz
            • l
            • ml
            • gal
            Container Type

            Type of container of a product. The options are:

            • None
            • Can
            • Bottle
            • Plastic
            Description
            Description 1 Language 1/2/3/4 Product description in the languages configured for the sales org.
            Description 2 Language 1/2/3/4 Additional product description languages configured for the sales org.
            Short Description Language 1/2/3/4 Short description of the product languages configured for the sales org.
            Criterion Information
            Category

            Specifies a product's level as Category.

            Note
            Note The sales org of the product selected as category and the product created must be the same.
            Sub Category

            Specifies a product's level as Sub Category.

            Note The sales org of the product selected as sub category and the product created must be the same.
            Brand

            Specifies a product's level as Brand.

            Note
            Note The sales org of the product selected as brand and the product created must be the same.
            Flavor

            Specifies a product's level as Sub Brand.

            Note
            Note The sales org of the product selected as flavor and the product created must be the same.
            Package

            Specifies a product's level as Product Price Group.

            Note
            Note The sales org of the product selected as package and the product created must be the same.
            Criterion 6 Product

            Used only for products whose Product Level is Product.

            Note
            Note The sales org of the product selected as criterion 6 and the product created must be the same.
            States
            Delivery Valid From Date from which a product can be added to an order. The product has a Delivery state.
            Delivery Valid Thru Date on which a product can longer be added to an order. The product is no longer in the Delivery state.
            Field Valid From Date from which a product can be added to an order. The product has a Field state. Field state ensures that the product appears in product overview when products are added to disposal list of an order.
            Field Valid Thru Date on which a product can longer be added to an order. The product is no longer in the Field state.
            KAM Valid From Date from which a product can be added to an order. The product has a KAM state. KAM state ensures that the product appears in product overview when it's added to a customer contract.
            KAM Valid Thru Date on which a product can longer be added to an order. The product is no longer in the KAM state.
            New Item Valid From Date from which a product can be added to an order. The product has a New state. New products can be added to disposal list of orders for new item promotions.
            New Item Valid Thru Date on which a product can longer be added to an order. The product is no longer in the New state.
            Fund Valid From Date from which a product can be added to an order. The product has a Fund state. Funds can be anchored only on products with a valid Fund state.
            Fund Valid Thru Date on which a product can longer be added to an order. The product is no longer in the Fund state.
            Asset Information
            Manufacturer Asset manufacturer's name.
            Manufacturer Item Number Item number of an asset.
            Estimated Value Estimated value of an asset.
            Power Supply Connected Determines whether the assets need power supply.
            Size Size of an asset.
            Height Height of an asset.
            Weight Weight of an asset.
