          Install the Consumer Goods Cloud Mobile App

          You can install the Consumer Goods Cloud mobile app on mobile phones or tablets.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled

          User Permissions Needed
          To install the CG mobile app CGCloud Sales User OR CGCloud Retail Sales User
          1. To get the app on your phone, find and download Consumer Goods in the App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your iOS or Android device.
          2. If your admin has set up a custom connected app:
            1. Get the QR code from the admin.
            2. Restart the app by scanning the QR code.
            3. Enter your username and password.

            Important
            • To log in to your sandbox, ensure that the QR code shared by the administrator includes the custom domain name. Even if you have the consumer key, you still need the custom domain name during login.
            • Use the my.salesforce.com domain format as your host URL on iOS and Android devices. The lightning.force.com domain format is not supported and will result in an authentication error. For example, if the host URL is https://ability-ability-387-dev-ed.scratch.lightning.force.com, change it to https://ability-ability-387-dev-ed.scratch.my.salesforce.com.
          3. To log in to a production org:
            1. On the Log In page, enter your username and password.
            2. Tap Log In.
          4. To log in to a sandbox:
            • On iOS devices
            1. On the Log In page, tap Gear icon opens the list of server connections configured in the app..
            2. In Choose Connection, tap Sandbox.
            3. Enter your user ID and password.
            4. Tap Log In to Sandbox.
            • On Android devices
            1. On the Log In page, tap Ellipses vertical icon opens the list of server connections configured in the app..
            2. Tap Change Server.
            3. In Change Server, select Sandbox.
            4. Enter your user ID and password.
            5. Tap Log In to Sandbox.
          5. To log in to a custom domain:
            • On iOS devices
            1. On the Log In page, tap Image shows the gear icon to tap to open the list of server connections configured in the app..
            2. In Choose Connection, tap Plus icon to tap to add a server connection..
            3. In Add Connection, enter the host URL.
            4. If needed, provide a label for the new connection.
            5. Tap Done to save the connection.
            6. Enter your username and password.
            7. Tap Log In to Sandbox.
            • On Android devices
            1. On the Log In page, tap Ellipses vertical opens the list of server connections configured in the app..
            2. Tap Change Server.
            3. In Change Server, select Sandbox.
            4. Tap Add New Connection.
            5. In Add Connection, provide a name for the new connection
            6. Enter the host URL.
            7. Tap Apply to save the connection.
            8. Enter your username and password.
            9. Tap Log In.
            After successful authentication, the download of the app content and the package begins.
          6. If needed, enter the security pin.
            You can now access the app from your device.

          If you get an error while downloading the content or the package, exit the app and try again. If the issue persists, contact your Salesforce admin.

          Note
          Note On the Log In page, avoid using the Use Custom Domain option because it's not a supported way to log in. You can still log in and use the app, but you'll be prompted to log in more times than the configured interval.
