          Execute an Inventory Check Task

          Inventory task lets you record the for KPI values of a product or a product category.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience in Professional, Unlimited, and Enterprise Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.
          1. Tap a visit.
            Tasks for the visit show in the Tasks card.
          2. To start the visit, tap Start visit icon.
          3. Tap a task.
            The in-store locations show as tabs at the bottom of the screen.
          4. Tap an in-store location.

            A list of products or product categories and the standard KPI to be recorded for the product or product category appear. If you’re using a tablet, the page appears as a split screen. The left panel shows the list of products and product categories. The right panel shows the KPIs of the selected product or product category. If you’re using a mobile device, to see the KPIs for a product or product category, tap a product or product category.

            The highest-priority KPI is listed as Standard and the other KPIs are listed as Additional. If you’ve a long list of products or product categories, find a product or product category by using the search, scan, or filter option. To search for a product or a product category, use the name, product code, product ID, or GTIN. To scan the barcode of a product, use the device camera or an external laser barcode scanner. To see the list of product categories, use the filter option. When you select a product category, products associated with the category appear.

          5. Enter KPI values for all in-store locations.
          6. To return to the product screen, tap the back arrow.
          7. To go to the Task card, tap the back arrow again.
          8. To complete the other inventory check tasks in the list, repeat steps 3–7.
          9. After you’ve completed the tasks for the visit, to go to the User cockpit, tap the back arrow.
          10. To complete the visit, tap End visit icon, and then tap Complete.
            If you haven’t completed the mandatory tasks, you can’t mark a visit as completed. If you can’t complete the mandatory tasks, enter a reason, and then abandon the visit.
