Add Multi-Site Custom Record Types to Opportunity Records

Add Multi-Site Custom Record Types to Opportunity Records

By default, the Salesforce opportunity record page doesn't display custom multi-site records such as service points and locations. To manage these records and create groups using them, add these records to the opportunity record page using the Lightning App Builder.

          1. From the Sales App, navigate to Opportunities.
          2. From the list of opportunities, click an opportunity.
          3. To edit the page, click Setup Setting Icon and then click Edit Page.
          4. Click one of the tabs such as Activity or Details.
          5. Add the Service Points tab and its component to the opportunity record page:
            • Select the component with the tabs.

The Default CPQ Quote Record Page with the tab component selected.
            • In the Tabs panel, click Add Tab.

            • Click the new tab, and from the Tab Label list, select Custom.

            • In the Custom Label field, enter a name, such as Service Points, and click Done.

            • Click the new tab to select it.

            • In the Components panel, search for cpqMultisiteServicePointContainer.

            • Drag the cpqMultisiteServicePointContainer into the new tab region.

            • Click Save.

          6. Repeat step 5 to add the following multi-site tabs:

            Custom Label

            Component

            Premises

            cpqMultisitePremisesContainer

            Locations

            cpqMultisiteLocationsContainer

            Service Accounts

            cpqMultisiteServiceAccountContainer

            Subscriber Accounts

            cpqMultisiteSubscriberAccountContainer

          7. Click Save.
          8. Activate the updated page and set it as the default page for desktops and phones:
            • Click Activation....

            • Click Assign as Org default.

            • Click Desktop and Phone, click Next and click Save.
