Clone Products in a Working Cart in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

Clone Products in a Working Cart in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

In the Enterprise Sales Management working cart, you can add a product multiple times by using the clone functionality. You can either Clone a product as configured in the cart or Clone with Defaults as configured in the product console. But the number of times you add a product matches the product's defined cardinality, and this count includes products added using both the clone options.

          • Clone a Product as Configured (Managed Package)
The standard Clone action creates an exact duplicate of a product in the working cart. The new product preserves all configurations and attribute modifications made after the original product was added.
          • Clone a Product with Defaults (Managed Package)
When you duplicate a product in the working cart using the Clone with Defaults action, it creates a new copy of the product without any of your earlier configurations. Instead, it uses the default settings and data from the Product Console and the Pricebook. This is limited by the product's defined cardinality.

Clone a Product as Configured (Managed Package)

The standard Clone action creates an exact duplicate of a product in the working cart. The new product preserves all configurations and attribute modifications made after the original product was added.

          1. Identify the product you want to add to your working cart.
          2. To add a product to your cart, select the product and click Add to Cart.
          3. Click Add to Configuration Cart.
          4. Configure the newly added product by modifying its attributes as needed.
          5. To add the same product to the cart with your configurations, click Clone.
The cloned product retains all the earlier configurations you’ve made.
            Note
Note The Clone option isn’t available when you reach the maximum quantity allowed for the product in the cart.

          2. To add a product to your cart, select the product and click Add to Cart.
          3. Click Add to Configuration Cart.
          4. Configure the newly added product by modifying its attributes as needed.
          5. To add the same product to the cart again with no configurations, click Clone with Defaults.
This action creates a new copy of the product, but it resets all configurations to the default settings and data from the Product Console and the Pricebook.
            Note
Note The Clone with Defaults option isn’t available when you reach the maximum quantity allowed for the product in the cart.
          6. Configure the cloned product if required.
