Configure Apply to Group for Changed Members Only
A multi-site Quote or Order may consist of a large number of premises, service points, locations, accounts, or subscribers grouped in single or multiple groups. To create multi-site Quote or Order, you may perform multiple iterations to add or remove groups or group members in a master Quote or Order. The multi-site framework optimizes the Apply to Group functionality by adding product line items in the Group-Cart/Group-Quote or Order only to the newly added or changed group members.
Consider a scenario where a multi-site Quote consists of a group that contains 100 service points. You add another 5 service points to this group and click Apply to Group action button. In this case, the Apply to Group batch job is executed only on the newly added 5 service points, instead of 105 group members. However, if you change the configuration in the Industries Cart, then the Apply to Group batch is run on all the 105 group members.
This functionality is enabled by default. You can disable it if you want to invoke Apply to Group for all the group members instead of just the delta or the newly added members.
To disable Apply to Group for delta members:
- From the App Launcher, go to the OmniStudio Integration Procedures.
- Find MultiService/StartApplyToGroup in the list and expand it.
- Click the active version of the Start ApplyToGroup Integration Procedure to open it.
- Click Deactivate Version so you can edit the Integration Procedure.
- In the Structure panel, click the StartApplyToGroupJob component.

Under the ADDITIONAL INPUT/OUTPUT/FAILURE RESPONSE,
change the value of the
processDeltaMemberselement tofalse. - Click Activate Version.
