Configure Product Designer for Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy (Install)
To use the Product Designer, complete the required configuration steps. The Product Designer provides a unified user experience with improved efficiency and agility to launch products quickly to market, giving both business and IT users access to all the product management capabilities they need.
In Spring '22 and later releases, the following configuration steps are automated:

Set up the Product Designer Lightning App.

Set up the Default Product Console Record Page.

Assign compact layout for Vlocity Picklist.

Reorder the picklist values.
The following steps aren’t automated and must be performed manually if necessary.
- Set Up the Product Designer
Configure the Product Designer to display the correct page layout and compact layout so that product administrators can use all the features. - Display Tabs in Product Designer
If the Catalogs, Products, Projects, and other tabs don't appear in Product Designer after installation, you'll need to add the tabs. - Hide Tabs in Product Designer
The String Translation tab shouldn't appear in the Vlocity Product Designer. If you see the String Translation tab, you need to hide the tab. - Configure Translation for the Product Designer
If you want to use more languages than the base language, you can configure the Product Designer to display object and field labels in languages other than English. You must manage the Commercial and Technical catalog in a single base language, such as English, Spanish, French, etc. Switching to another language for catalog administration is not supported. - Include the Project UI Components
If you have not completed these steps, then include the Project UI components in the Vlocity Product Designer :
