Configure Vlocity Product Designer for Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy (Upgrade)
To use the Product Designer, complete the required configuration steps. The Product Designer provides a unified user experience with improved efficiency and agility to launch products quickly to market, giving both business and IT users access to all the product management capabilities they need.
In Spring '22 and later releases, the following configuration steps are automated:

Set up the Default Product Console Record Page.

Assign compact layout for Vlocity Picklist.

Reorder the picklist values.

Assign page layouts.

Set up the Compact Layouts (Highlights panel).

Assign the Create New Product and Generate Report buttons to the list view.

Verify that you can see the Delete button on the Highlights panel of the Products page.
The following steps aren’t automated and must be performed manually if necessary.

Perform the following steps to ensure the Product Designer displays the correct page layout and compact layout. - Configure Translation for the Product Designer
You can configure the Product Designer to display object and field labels in languages other than English. You must manage the Commercial and Technical catalog in a single base language, such as English, Spanish, French, etc. Switching to another language for catalog administration is not supported.
