Replacing Plans from the Asset Viewer

Replacing Plans from the Asset Viewer

For Spring '22 and later, replacing plans supports bulk processing. With bulk processing, you can select multiple existing plans and create a quote or order for them. You can then choose to replace plans one at a time or a group of plans all at once. For example, say you want to move all customers on a broadband plan to an improved plan, you can select all such plans and upgrade your customers in a single order or quote.

          Note
Note Bulk Replace and Bulk Update feature have been certified in Standard Run time along with classic API's.

Bulk processing support for change of plans have several benefits:

          • Upgrade, downgrade, or disconnect multiple plans for multiple subscribers, service locations, and Telco network sites.

          • Grouping of plans by offer ID which reduces the number of clicks to create an order or quote.

          • Ability to search for plans on the Offer Selection page.

          • Support for changing of plans in massive transaction volumes.

          • Retain the existing configuration when changing plans.

          • Completely update the configuration of plans when you replace plans.

Replacing a product works with any eligibility rules that you’ve defined. You can only replace plans depending on your customer's eligibility to change plans.
