Set Up the Vlocity Pricing Designer

Perform the following steps to ensure the Pricing Designer displays the correct page layouts and compact layouts.

1. Assign a Page Layout to the profile and record type:

   • Click Setup.

   • Click Object Manager.

   • In the Quick Find box, search for the Pricing Plan object.

   • Click Page Layouts.

   • Click the Page Layout Assignments button in the upper right corner.

   • Click Edit Assignment.

   • Select System Administrator.

   • Go back to the top and set Page Layout To Use to Vlocity EPC Pricing Plan Layout.

   • Click Save.

   • Repeat the previous steps, but instead of using the Pricing Plan object, repeat the steps to assign Lightning Record pages for these remaining objects:

     Label from Object Manager	Lightning Record Page Layout to select	Record Type
     Pricing Plan Step	Vlocity EPC Pricing Plan Step Layout	Master
     Pricing Variable	Vlocity EPC Pricing Variable Layout	Master
     Pricing Variable Binding	Vlocity EPC Pricing Variable Binding Layout	Master

2. Rename the Promotion tab:

   • Click Setup.

   • In the Quick Find box, type Rename Tabs and Labels.

   • Click Rename Tabs and Labels.

   • In the Custom Tabs section, beside Promotions, click Edit.

   • Change the value of Plural to Promotions/Discounts.

   • Click Save.
