          Add and Assign Promotions in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

          Add promotions to the promotions catalog and then assign promotions in your enterprise quote or enterprise order in the same way that you add other products. You can assign promotions to members or groups, or just add them to the quote or order without assigning them to members or groups.

          Your Enterprise Sales Management product catalog includes a few sample promotions you can use to familiarize yourself with promotions in Salesforce.

          When you view the enterprise quote summary or enterprise order summary, you can view the promotions assigned to each member or group and you can click the promotion to view its details. You can also delete a promotion from the quote summary or enterprise order summary page.

          1. To add a promotion:
            1. In the App Launcher, go to Items and click Vlocity Product Console.
            2. Under Product Management, go to Promotion and click the + icon to create a promotion.
            3. Set up the promotion as required and click Save.
          2. To assign a promotion:
            1. On the enterprise quote page or enterprise order page, go to the Subscriber or the Location tab.
            2. To view the subscribers or locations grouped according to your requirement, select the required group from the Group by menu.
            3. Select the required groups or members.
            4. Click Add Products.
            5. Click Promotions and select a promotion. Selecting the promotion adds the product as well as the promotion to the cart.
              If you've already added the product that the promotion is applied to, the promotion is simply added on top of that product.
            6. Configure any of the options, if required, and then click Add to Subscriber.
          3. To override a specific attribute for a product within the context of a promotion:
            1. In the Pricing Designer app, go to the promotion and find the relevant product.
            2. Open the Promotion Product Details window by clicking next to the product name.
            3. Scroll down to the Attributes section and expand it to view the details.
            4. Find the specific attribute you need to modify and click edit to override it.
            5. Add a value to exclude it from the PickList.
            6. Create an order and add the relevant promotion.
            7. Configure the attribute on the product and verify that the specified value is hidden from the options.
          4. To view promotions:
            1. Click the Summary tab. You can see the selected groups or members with the product assigned.
            2. Click the product to see the details. The promotion is listed as part of the product.
            3. Click See Details to view the promotion details.
          5. To delete a promotion, click the X icon and then click Delete to confirm the deletion.
