Orchestration Item Types: Manual Task
A manual task is used when user input is needed at a particular place in the fulfillment flow, for example, an approval (like a credit check) or manual enrichment of data onto an order.
When a manual task is reached, the task is placed in a queue and can be retrieved by a user for processing.
Each manual task can be created with a custom task execution URL, which can call an OmniScript or other interface to execute the manual task. When the manual task is marked complete, the fulfillment flow automatically moves to the subsequent tasks.
You can assign a manual task to a Salesforce queue. Enter the name of the Salesforce Queue in the Salesforce Queue Name field on the Orchestration Item Definition window. The Salesforce queue is synced at all times with the task. See Associate a Manual Task with a Salesforce Queue
