Select and Configure Products in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
When you create an enterprise quote or enterprise order, add products to the quote or order and then configure, price, and validate the quote or order using Enterprise Sales Management capabilities.
This feature is part of the Communications Cloud managed package.
Product Management Process Overview
Product management in Enterprise Sales Management begins with building your product model using Salesforce Industries Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) features. EPC is a complex topic and is covered in the CME Managed Package Administration Guide.
Once you have created your product catalog using EPC, you're ready to assemble quotes, orders, and close sales deals in Enterprise Sales Management.
In addition, you can customize the offer selection and configuration user interface using Lightning Web Components for Enterprise Sales Management and the SDK for Enterprise Sales Management
Create Products and Offers
To get started creating product and offers in Enterprise Sales Management, follow these instructions:
- Offer Selection and Configuration in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
Manage product catalog categories and offer details, which display inline pricing characteristics such as monthly recurring charges and one-time charges. - Add Products in an Enterprise Quote or Enterprise Order (Managed Package)
In an enterprise quote or enterprise order, you can add products and assign them to locations or subscribers. Using groups allows you to assign the same product to multiple group members and makes creating and managing the quote or order simpler. However, you can also assign products to individual locations or subscribers, which gives you the flexibility to customize the products for each individual location or subscriber. - Modify Products in a Quote or Order in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
Sales resp can edit an enterprise quote or enterprise order to modify products. Modifying products includes adding or removing child products and changing attributes. - Clone Products in a Working Cart in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
In the Enterprise Sales Management working cart, you can add a product multiple times by using the clone functionality. You can either Clone a product as configured in the cart or Clone with Defaults as configured in the product console. But the number of times you add a product matches the product's defined cardinality, and this count includes products added using both the clone options. - Add and Assign Promotions in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
Add promotions to the promotions catalog and then assign promotions in your enterprise quote or enterprise order in the same way that you add other products. You can assign promotions to members or groups, or just add them to the quote or order without assigning them to members or groups. - Set Up Contract-Based Pricing in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
In Enterprise Sales Management, contract-based pricing refers to using a frame agreement to determine the price applicable to a product. - Adjust Pricing in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
Enterprise Sales Management product model offerings include detailed pricing adjustments and promotions built using Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC) and Industries CPQ pricing definitions. - Make Bulk Pricing Adjustment (Managed Package)
Adjust pricing for multiple products on the summary tab of your enterprise quote page or enterprise order page.
