Enterprise Quote or Enterprise Order Enrichment in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)

At any point while working on your enterprise quote or enterprise order, you can update the quote or order with details that weren’t available or not required earlier.

This feature is part of the Communications Cloud managed package.

For example, you can assign phone numbers, update a billing account, or enter an installation date for multiple line items. Quote or order enrichment allows you to make these changes either inline one at a time, or for multiple lines simultaneously.

The Displaying list on the Summary page controls the columns that are displayed for each display option in the list. By default, the following columns are associated with each display option:

When you select one or more line items in the quote or order, the Enrich Quote or Enrich Order button is enabled. Enrich Quote or Enrich Order launches an OmniScript that allows you to enter or update values in the columns associated with the selected display option.

The OmniScript that is launched by Enrich Quote or Enrich Order varies depending on the selected display option. Each OmniScript allows you to update values in columns that are associated with the selected display option.

To update quote or order information with Enrich Quote or Enrich Order, follow these instructions:

• Validate Quote Line Items or Order Line Items in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
  Use the Validate button on the Summary page to check if any of the selected line items has a product for which the Location Dependent option is selected. If any of the selected line items are location dependent, the Validate button checks if a connection date is provided for those line items.
• View the Validation Status of Quote Line Items or Order Line Items (Managed Package)
  The Status option in the Displaying list on the Summary page allows you to view the validation status of each quote line item or order line item.
• Update Billing Account Details for Quote or Order Line Items in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
  Use the Payment option in the Displaying list on the Summary page to show the billing account name and billing address for each quote line item or order line item.
• Enter Installation Details in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
  The Installation option in the Displaying list on the Summary page allows you to update the Connect Date for products that require a connection date.
• Assign Phone Numbers in Enterprise Sales Management (Managed Package)
  The Number Assignment option in Displaying on the Summary page is provided as a sample implementation. This option allows you to associate a phone number in the Service Identifier column with each quote line item or order line item.
• Enrich Order Product with Additional Information (Managed Package)
  In Enterprise Sales Management, any fields on the Quote Member object can be associated with corresponding fields on the Order Products object. When you provide specific values for these fields in an enterprise quote, those values are carried forward to the Order Product object. You can also update the Sub Orders page layout to display each field as a column on the Order Products page.
