Set SuppressUsersSync to control user synchronization between Salesforce and OM Plus

Use the SuppressUsersSync custom setting to avoid product catalog synchronization for new and modified users who do not have access to Order Management Plus.

SuppressUsersSync enables or disables user synchronization globally between Salesforce and Order Management Plus. You can set the SuppressUsersSync setting to true or false. This setting is false by default, and is part of the post-installation process.

Note

User synchronization is also affected by the OMplus Enabled setting. For more information, see Enable user access to Order Management Plus.

To set SuppressUsersSync, follow these steps:

1. Click Setup.
2. In the QuickFind/Search field, type Custom Settings.
3. From the search results, click Custom Settings. The Custom Settings page appears.
4. Find XOMSetup and click its associated Manage link. The XOMSetup page appears.
5. Click New. The Edit page appears.
6. Enter the following:

   • Name: SuppressUsersSync

   • Key: SuppressUsersSync

   • Value: True.

7. Click Save.
