          Configure Data Processing Engine Definition

          Configure Data Processing Engine Definition

Create a Data Processing Engine (DPE) definition, add DPE nodes and input variables to the DPE definition. Then, activate the DPE definition to use it for the advanced CSV import feature.

          1. Create a Data Processing Engine Definition.
          2. Create an input variable, specifically a File Identifier type input variable that’s used to dynamically provide the content ID to the DPE definition. See Define Input Variable.
          3. Add a data source node to your DPE definition. See Create a Data Processing Engine Node
Use a CSV file as a data source node that you want to import data from. See Use a CSV File as a Data Source Node.
          4. Configure the DPE source node to add to a writeback object, which is the Salesforce object you want to import CSV data into. See Configure a Data Processing Engine Node.
You can add multiple writeback objects to a single DPE source node to import CSV data into multiple Salesforce objects in one process. Each writeback object must correspond to a separate Salesforce object.
          5. After you create and configure a DPE definition, activate the DPE definition to use it for the advanced CSV import feature.

You can also configure the DPE node to add other node types to transform your data. See Data Processing Engine Nodes.

Use the configured DPE definition to import CSV data into Salesforce.
