Selecting the prediction duration and datasets is optional and dependent on the template configuration type.

A financial institution uses Scoring Framework to get predictions about accounts that sales representatives can focus on for the next 30 days to maximize revenue. The financial institution’s Salesforce admin selects 30 as the prediction duration. The admin then selects the CRM Analytics datasets that contain historical data to use to determine the trend of revenue generated from accounts in the past 30 days.
