          Create Bulk Action Configurations

          Create Bulk Action Configurations

Improve the productivity of your list creators by creating bulk action configurations that integrate with actionable lists and provide your list creators with easily accessible and relevant bulk actions on Bulk Action Panel. You can include Lightning Web Component actions, OmniScripts, and screen type flows in a bulk action configuration.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
Available in: Enterprise, Professional, Starter, and Unlimited Editions with the required add-ons
          User Permissions Needed
To create bulk action configurations: Actionable Segmentation permission set
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Bulk Action Configurations, and then select Bulk Action Configurations.
          2. Click New.
          3. Click Next, and then name your bulk action configuration. The API name fills in automatically.
            Note
Note Bulk action configuration names can’t contain special characters except underscores and can’t exceed 40 characters. Special characters other than underscores are automatically removed from the API Name field. The API name must be unique and must begin with a letter. It must not include spaces, end with an underscore, or contain two consecutive underscores.
          4. Click Next.
          5. Select the object that you want to show specific actions for.
You can create only one bulk action configuration per object. To search for a specific object, use the search field.
          6. Click Next.
          7. Select the actions that you want to include in the bulk action configuration.
You can add up to 1,000 actions in a bulk action configuration. A hyphen in the Context column indicates an object-specific flow that contains the previously selected object or the Actionable List Member object as the input variable. The Context column shows LWC for Lightning Web Component actions. Only active OmniScripts are available for selection. To search for specific actions, use the search field.
          8. Click Next.
          9. Click Plus icon next to the action that you want to show on Bulk Action Panel.
You can show up to 10 actions on Bulk Action Panel. To remove a selected action from Bulk Action Panel, click Cross icon. To reorder the actions, drag the actions to a different position on Bulk Action Panel. The Valid drop point icon icon indicates a valid place to drop the action. Bulk Action Panel shows out-of-the-box actions in dark blue. You can't reorder the out-of-the-box actions on Bulk Action Panel. To search for specific actions, use the search field.
          10. Save your changes.

The bulk action configuration is saved and it appears on the Bulk Action Configurations page. When a list creator opens an actionable list, Bulk Action Panel shows the associated bulk actions. You can edit or delete a configuration by clicking Down arrow icon. The deletion of a configuration removes it from the Configurations list and removes the associated actions from Bulk Action Panel.
