Generate Documents by Using DocGen User Permission Set

The DocGen Designer permission set license now includes the DocGen Designer and DocGen User permission sets.

Where: This change applies to Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Unlimited, Professional, and Developer editions.

Why: In previous releases, if you set up a custom DocGen standard user permission set by creating and assigning custom permissions without additional privileges associated with the DocGen Designer permission set license. You could replace your custom DocGen standard user permission set with the DocGen User permission set. Who: This feature is available for users who are assigned the DocGen User permission set, and DocGen Designer permission set license.
