Configure Omnistudio Document Generation Process Object Permissions Industries Managed
Packages
In the Industries Communications, Media, Energy & Utilities (CME), Insurance (INS),
Vlocity Government (PS), and Omnistudio for Managed Packages, not all document generation objects are
accessible by default through the DocGen permission sets. Assign additional permissions for these
objects to ensure successful document generation.

Important These instructions only apply if you're using the Industries Communications, Media, Energy & Utilities (CME), Insurance (INS),
Vlocity Government (PS), or Omnistudio for Managed Packages. You can skip these instructions if you are not using an Industries managed package.
From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, select
it.
Create a custom permission set or click on your existing DocGen permission set (used for
document generation), and then click Object Settings.
For example, DocGenInd_Design_All.
Provide access for Document Generation Processes object.
Click Document Generation Processes, and then click
Edit.
In Object Permissions, select Read and
Create permissions.
In Field Permissions, select Read Access and Edit
Access for fields: PDFDocIdentifiersList, Reference Object, Request Text, Token
Data, and Token data Content Document Id.
In Field Permissions, select Read Access for ResponseText
field.
Save your changes.
Provide access to the Document Generation Process Status Changed Events object.
Click Document Generation Process Status Changed Events, and then
click Edit.
In Object Permissions, select Read permissions.
Save your changes.
Provide field-level security for all users for PDF Document Identifiers List.
From Setup, go to Object Manager.
In the Quick Find box, enter Document Generation Process, and then
select Document Generation Process.
Click Fields & Relationships, and then click PDF
Document Identifiers List.
Click Set Field-Level Security.
In the Field-Level Security for Profile, select Visible for all
the profiles.
Save your changes.
