Configure Document Generation Setting for Omnistudio Document Generation Winter '25 and later releases
In the document generation setting, you can specify the default mechanism for document generation. The server-side document generation is an asynchronous process designed to efficiently render large and complex documents and generate documents in batches. Batch document generation represents a grouping of server-side document generation requests associated with a batch document generation ID. Only one batch document generation request can be processed at a time. You can prevent document generation requests from running indefinitely by turning on the time-out setting. Any individual or batch document generation requests that exceed the specified time limit but are still in progress are terminated and marked as failed. The default timeout is set to 6 hours.
