User Permissions Needed
To upload images:
DocGen User
[Option 1] Upload an image to Files.
When images are uploaded to Files, they remain private and are visible only to the
uploader until they're shared. Only the file owners and users with the View All Data permission
can access private files. The Owned by Me filter helps show the owned files. See Upload and File Sharing Overview.
From the App Launcher, find and select Files.
From Owned by Me, click Upload Files.
Choose an image, and click Open.
When the file gets uploaded, click Done.
To grant access to the images to all users, add the image to the Docgen Document Template
Library.
Files uploaded to a library inherit the sharing settings of that library.
Click Libraries, select Docgen Document Template
Library, and then click Add Files.
Select the image that you uploaded to Files, and then click
Add.
Open the Docgen Document Template Library, and click Manage
Members.
From the Add Members dropdown, select People.
Enter Platform Integration User in the search and set the access
level to Viewer.
Click Add.
[Option 2] Upload an image to the Notes & Attachments section of a contract.
In the Notes & Attachments section of a contract, click Upload
Files.
Click Choose
File,
and select the image that you want to add.
When the file gets uploaded, click Done.
[Option 3] Upload an image to a rich text field.
In the rich text field of a contract record, click Edit.
Click Image, and select the image.
Click Open.
Save your
changes.
[Option 4] Paste an image to a rich text field.
If you need to use rich text with images, use the RTB_token instead of the IMG_token.
Copy the image.
In the rich text field of a contract, click Edit.
Paste the image into the field.
Save your changes.
