AnalyzeID is a specialized API within Amazon Textract that extracts data from photo
identification such as U.S. driver’s licenses and passports. Enabling this API allows for more
accurate extractions with Intelligent Document Automation.
Required Editions
User Permissions Needed
To use AnalyzeID:
CRUD access to Received Document and Received Document Type objects
In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Intelligent Form Reader, and
then select Intelligent Form Reader.
Click Edit Settings.
In the Edit Global Content Extraction Settings, Select Amazon Textract Analyze
ID.
Save your work.
In Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Document Type, and then
select Document Type.
Click New Document Type.
Enter a Label.
Enter a Name. The name must begin with a letter. Enter only alphanumeric characters and
underscores. The name can’t include two underscores at the end.
Select Is Active.
Provide a description.
Select Identity Document as the Form Type.
Save your work.
Now when the user is transforming a received document they can select this document type and
use the AnalyzeID API.
