AI Summary

Empowers contact center executives to quickly and efficiently generate AI-driven insights within their existing workflows. AI Summary provides relevant insights in context, without requiring users to switch screens whether they are viewing a specific record or their home page. AI Summary is available on the home and record pages.

The AI Summary component includes pre-configured prompt templates that match the context of the record object. These templates allow agents to generate intelligent insights with just a few clicks. For example, an agent can generate a summary of customer engagement interactions from the records stored in the Engagement Interaction object and the related Engagement Topic and Notes objects.

Once the summary is generated, users can ask follow-up questions and take immediate action by using the Continue with Agentforce button next to each AI-generated summary.

  • AI Summary Add-Ons and Permissions
    Users access AI Summary (formerly Einstein Summary) in their Salesforce org through supported editions, add-ons, and permissions.
  • Enable Einstein Generative AI
    To use the Einstein generative AI features to generate insights from records, turn on the Einstein Generative AI preference in Setup.
  • Add AI Summary to a Page
    Make the AI Summary (formerly Einstein Summary) component available to your users by adding it to the desired record or home page.
  • Customize AI Summary on Home Page with Context Service
    Use the Context Service integration to create dynamic, insightful summaries and show them on your homepage. For example, a sales rep’s dashboard can highlight top leads and opportunities to help them prioritize high-impact tasks.
  • Considerations for Prompt Templates
    Prompt templates are available in AI Summary based on specific conditions. Make a note of the conditions required to successfully integrate your prompt templates with AI Summary.
  • Generate Summary and Insights
    Contact center executives can get summaries and insights on records at the click of a button. The concise overview saves time and helps users quickly understand the records.
