To enable Assessments, you must enable Discovery Framework and update sharing settings.

Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud or Life Sciences Cloud

User Permissions Needed
To use Assessments:	Assessment Envelope
To change Sharing Settings:	Manage Sharing

Omnistudio and Discovery Framework are included with Health Cloud.

Enable Discovery Framework.
1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Discovery Framework, and then select General Settings.
2. Turn on Discovery Framework.

Update Sharing Settings.

From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sharing Settings, and then select Sharing Settings.
In the Organization-Wide Defaults section, click Edit.

Update the Default Internal Access for these objects:

Object	Default Internal Access Setting
Assessment Question	Public Read Only
Assessment Question Set	Public Read Only
Assessment Question Response	Controlled by Parent
Omni Process	Public Read Only
Omni Process Question Version	Public Read Only
