          Enable Sales and Service Apps

          Enable Sales and Service Apps

To access the standard sales and service functionalities in Energy and Utilities Cloud, enable the Energy and Utilities Service Apps and Sales for Energy and Utilities settings. These settings grant access to applications such as the Agent Console, the Self-Service Portal, and standard sales features.

          Required Editions

Before you begin, ensure that your org uses Standard OmniStudio Content and Runtime. To know more, see Communications, Media, and Energy (CME) Support for OmniStudio Standard Runtime.

          User Permissions Needed
To enable Energy and Utilities Settings: Energy and Utilities Cloud License
          Note
Note If you already have the managed package version of Energy and Utilities applications, enabling the Sales and Service Apps does not remove the existing managed package apps. Once the Sales and Service Apps are enabled, you can access them using the right Permission Sets. Standard apps do not use data already defined in custom objects in your org. You must migrate data, processes, and UI components to the enhanced data model in order to use standard applications once you enable the Sales and Service Apps.
          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Energy and Utilities Settings, and select it.
          2. Turn on Energy and Utilities Service Apps.
          3. Turn on Sales for Energy and Utilities.
