Set Up Program Management Console
Grant permissions, deploy components, and configure your Salesforce org for the Energy & Utilities Program Management Console.
The Program Management Console set up process can take a bit of time to fully complete. Refer back to this page to remind you of what tasks you have completed and which ones remain. Be sure to allow ample time for these setup tasks.
Complete the tasks in each of these sections to set up Program Management Console:
- Enable Program Management Console Features Admin Permissions
Enable features and permissions for Program Management Console. - Edit the Indicator Assignment Object
In Program Management Console, the Indicator Assignment object connects to the Indicator Definition object which is used to measure your impact. Add Program Product as a picklist value in the Indicator Assignment Type field to connect it to a Program Product. - Set Up Program Manager User Profile and User
Create a Program Manager user and add the permission sets that allow the program manager to use Program Management Console features. You can assign more permission sets to the program manager or clone the user based on your implementation. - Assign Data Processing Engine Permissions
Before you deploy Data Processing Engine components, you must assign permission sets to the Analytics Integration User. Clean Energy Programs Management Console uses Data Processing Engine to aggregate or calculate tracking matrices. - Deploy Metadata for Program Management Console
Download the Program Management Console SFDX datapacks and deploy them to your Salesforce org. - Post Deployment Steps for Program Management Console
After you deploy the metadata to your org, complete these post deployment steps before you use Program Management Console. - Consider Updating Sharing Settings for Program Management Console
Consider updating your sharing settings to grant access to the objects used by Program Management Console.
