Integrate with SAP IS-U (Console Process Multipack)

Integrate with SAP IS-U (Console Process Multipack)

Many Energy & Utilities companies have traditional backend billing and metering systems that store a large amount of customer billing data. You wish to integrate these systems with the Energy & Utilities Contact Center Console.

The SAP IS-U Console Integration Multipack provides you the capability to integrate your Utility 360 Service Console with an SAP IS-U legacy billing system. This multipack is a collection of components such as OmniScripts, Data Mappers and Integration Procedures, which enables the necessary functionality required for the integration.

          This integration can:

          • Create and Manage a Customer
          • Create new Contract
          • Terminate Contract
          • Request previous Meter Read
          • Add Meter Read
          • Request Rebill
          • Request Billing Adjustment
          • Place Account on Billing Hold

To add the console process SAP IS-U integration functionality to your org:

          1. Visit the Salesforce Industries Process Library.
          2. Download and install the following process from the Energy and Utilities Cloud Integration API Suite:
            • SAP IS-U Console Integration Multipack

          3. Import the metadata ZIP file (containing Remote site settings,Named credential) to your org using IDX Workbench.
          4. After importing the Metadata zip, In the Org Go to Setup --> Named Credentials --> Edit "SAP Connector" --> Update the URL field with the correct end point.
          5. Refer the sample payload "SAP-Integration-Payload-Sample.xlsx" for configuring the Integration Procedure according to your endpoints.

After you have completed the deployment of the multipack, re-activate the following Omniscripts individually:

          • VPLEnergyMakeComplaint
          • VPL-MoveIn-WithoutCPQ
