Manage Opportunities and Service Points in Large Account Sales Management
Opportunities are a record of potential, won, and lost deals. The Large Account Sales Management application helps you track and manage the information stored for each opportunity record. In addition to standard Salesforce functionality, Large Account Sales Management application provides customized workflows for the Energy & Utilities industry. These workflows assist sales agents to upload site data, group sites, and proceed with multi-site quoting, helping you to provide a personalized experience to your utility customers.
With opportunities, you can:

Create new opportunities directly, by converting leads, or cloning.

Add, modify or update the opportunity record details such as service information about the deal.

Track the progression of an opportunity from a prospect to a quote.

Share the opportunity or change owner

Change the record type or submit for approval.

This combination provides you with a full 360-degree view of the open and upcoming opportunities on a single dashboard. - Upload Service Points in Large Account Sales Management
A service point is an entry point for services to a premises. The service provided to each service point is separately metered (or measured). Therefore, each opportunity or quote relating to the sale of the commodity product should have one or more service points attached to it. - Work with Opportunity Groups in Large Account Sales Management
A group is a named set of member types such as service points, premises, or service accounts that you can use to manage large numbers of quote line items in a multi-site quote. - Create Multi-Site Quote for Energy & Utilities
After you have uploaded the service points and have created opportunity groups, you can start the multi-site quote or multi-site order workflow.
