            Prepare Your Salesforce Org for Complaint Alerts on Slack

            Set up Complaint Management, assign the required permission sets, and install Salesforce for Slack to set up and configure Slack for complaint alerts.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions where Financial Services Cloud is enabled and Omnistudio Managed Package Runtime setting is turned off.
            User Permissions Needed
            To assign permission sets:

            Assign Permission Sets

            AND

            View Setup and Configuration
            To create or change custom fields: Customize Application
            To set field-level security:

            Manage Profiles and Permission Sets

            AND

            Customize Application
            1. Set up Complaint Management. Make sure that you’ve configured the Public Complaint object, and have assigned Complaint Management permissions to users.
            2. Assign the Connect Salesforce with Slack permission set to users.
            3. Enable Salesforce for Slack Integrations, and install the Salesforce for Slack app.

              To configure complaint alerts, make sure that you install the Salesforce for Slack app. You can skip installing other apps that are listed on the Slack Apps Setup page, such as Sales Cloud or Service Cloud for Slack.

            4. To verify that the Salesforce for Slack app is installed successfully:
              1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, find, and select Installed Packages.
              2. Verify that the slack-platform-connector app is listed on this page.
