            Create Permission Sets for Compliant Data Sharing

            Create a permission set for users who configure Financial Services Cloud and Compliant Data Sharing and another permission set for Compliant Data Sharing users.

            Required Editions

            Available in: Lightning Experience
            Available in: Professional, Enterprise, and Unlimited Editions in Financial Services Cloud
            Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Nonprofit Cloud
            Available in: Enterprise, Performance, Unlimited, and Developer Editions with Public Sector Solutions
            User Permissions Needed
            To create permission sets:

            Manage Profiles and Permission Sets

            AND

            Configure Compliant Data Sharing System Permission
            1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Permission Sets, and then click Permission Sets.
            2. Create a permission set for users who configure and manage participant roles and participant groups.
              1. Click New.
              2. Enter a label, such as Compliant Data Sharing Manager.
                A unique API Name is provided automatically but you can change it.
              3. Enter a description for the permission set.
              4. Select a license.
              5. Set License to Compliant Data Sharing, and then click Save.
              6. On the Permission Sets Setup page, click the name of your new permission set, if it isn’t already displayed.
              7. On the Compliant Data Sharing Manager Permission Set page, under System, click System Permissions, and then click Edit.
              8. Select the Enabled checkbox to enable the Configure Compliant Data Sharing permission.
              9. (Optional) Under System, deselect the Enabled checkbox to disable the Use Compliant Data Sharing permission.
              10. Click Save. If a confirmation window appears, click Save.
            3. Create a permission set for Compliant Data Sharing users.
              1. On the Permission Sets Setup page, click New.
              2. Enter a label, such as Compliant Data Sharing User.
              3. Enter an API Name or use the default.
              4. Enter a description.
              5. Set License to Compliant DataSharing, and then click Save.
              6. Under System, click System Permissions, and then click Edit.
              7. Enable the Use Compliant Data Sharing permission.
              8. Click Save. If a confirmation window appears, click Save.
            4. Assign the permission sets to users.
