- Summary Rollup Metrics in Flexible Hierarchies
Understand how summary rollup metrics aggregate data across nodes in a flexible hierarchy so that your business users can make faster, data-backed decisions during live business reviews. - Predefined Data Processing Engine Definitions for Summary Rollups in Flexible Hierarchies
Explore the predefined Data Processing Engine definitions provided to roll up account and contact opportunities with Data Cloud or CRM Analytics. Understand how each definition functions and when to use it. - Enable Summary Rollup in Flexible Hierarchies
Turn on Flexible Hierarchies Summary Rollup to configure rollup metrics that aggregate values across a nested hierarchy to compute individual, child, and total values. - Assign Object Permissions to Update Node Summaries
To compute summary rollups by using Data Processing Engine definitions via Data Cloud runtime and update these values in the node summary records, assign the required object permissions to the Customer 360 Data Platform Integration permission set. - Add Picklist Values to Node Measure Type
To configure summary rollup metrics, add picklist values to the Node Measure Type field on the Flexible Hierarchy Node Summary object according to your business requirements. A node measure type indicates the categories that your hierarchy summarizes, such as total account balance or total opportunities. - Configure Summary Rollup Metrics for Flexible Hierarchies
Create summary rollup metrics for a hierarchy type by using relevant node measure types. This node measure type determines the category that you want to summarize, such as total account balance or total opportunities. - Create and Deploy Data Processing Engine Definitions to Compute Summary Rollups for Flexible Hierarchies
Compute individual, child, and total rollup metrics for all the nodes in a hierarchy. To set up these calculations, create a Data Processing Engine definition or clone and customize the predefined Data Processing Engine definitions. To make sure that any recent updates to rollup metrics are accounted for, create schedule-triggered flows and run these definitions.
