Move a Call Center to Government Cloud

Move a Call Center to Government Cloud

Relocate your call center to Salesforce Government Cloud to take advantage of a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP)-authorized environment for call-center operations.

          Required Editions

Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions
          User Permissions Needed
Author Apex Required to initiate the sandbox creation process
Modify All Data Grants access to all data in the org, including metadata

Make sure you have Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)-compliant endpoints on your telephony services.

If you're a Government Cloud customer using the publicly available version of Service Cloud Voice, follow these steps to move your call center to a FedRAMP-authorized environment.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Sandboxes, then select Sandboxes.
          2. Click New Sandbox.
          3. Enter a name and description for the sandbox.
          4. Provision your telephony service with your selected partner using FIPS-compliant endpoints.
          5. Connect your telephony service to your sandbox and test the new call center experience.
          6. Prepare for a maintenance window while you move your production Salesforce from the commercial version of Service Cloud Voice to Government Cloud. This window is typically 30 minutes.
