          Create an Agent for Health Engagement Patient and Member Self-Service

          Use the Patient and Member Services template to create an agent that patients and members can use to complete self-servcie tasks. Add specific subagents to the agent to help members search for in-network providers, check their health plan benefits, and access their health history.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud and Agentforce for Health Cloud add-on licenses. Requires each user to have the Agentforce for Health Cloud add-on to access the agent action.

          1. Create an agent based on the Patient and Member Services template.
          2. In Agentforce Builder, add these subagents from the asset library to the agent.
          3. Activate the agent.
          4. Save your changes.
          • Subagent: Provider Network Search and Queries
            Answers provider network and discovery questions using FHIR-aligned, CMS-compliant APIs to deliver accurate, conversational, and interoperable experiences across portals and contact centers.
          • Subagent: Member Data Queries
            Answers member data questions using PDex FHIR-aligned, CMS-compliant APIs to deliver accurate, conversational, and interoperable experiences across portals.
