          Map Your Custom Lead Fields

          Map Your Custom Lead Fields

If you have custom lead fields, map them to fields on account, contact, or opportunity to make them available in Health Cloud after lead conversion.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience

Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Health Cloud

Health Cloud automatically handles the mappings for custom fields on lead records that are part of Health Cloud. Those field mappings support duplicate record checking during conversion.

Map custom lead fields that you create to their corresponding fields on account, contact, or opportunity to retain your custom data after lead conversion. For example, if you have a custom lead field called Health Goals, map it to the custom field on account or contact where you want to store Health Goals information.

          1. From the object management settings for Leads, go to Fields & Relationships, then select Map Lead Fields.
          2. For each custom lead field, choose the field on account, contact, or opportunity into which you want the information inserted when you convert a lead.
          3. Save your work.
          Important
Important Altering the field name or label for these delivered fields can cause unexpected results during the conversion process.
