Flow for Health Cloud
Flow for Health Cloud expands the existing Salesforce Flow suite with additional features built for complex industry workflows. In addition to Flow and MuleSoft, Flow for Health Cloud includes Omnistudio, Business Rules Engine, Document Generation and Intelligent Form Reader, and Data Processing Engine. Flow for Health Cloud consists of a unique portfolio of automation solutions, all built around your customer.

Flow for Health Cloud is included with Health Cloud. Document Generation is available with an add-on license.
- Business Rules Engine
- Business Rules Engine helps you simplify the process of determining eligibility or
qualification and automate complex decision-making. Use Decision Tables to define workflow
actions for customer use cases based on a collection of rules.

- Data Processing Engine
- Data Processing Engine helps you transform data that's available in your Salesforce org
and write back the transformation results as new or updated records.

- Document Generation
- With Document Generation, you can generate documents, such as contracts, proposals, and
service agreements, using Omniscripts.

- Flow Builder and Flow Orchestration
- Flow Builder provides declarative process automation for every Salesforce app,
experience, and portal with point-and-click automation. Flow Orchestration lets you create
multi-step processes that interact with multiple users.

- Intelligent Form Reader
- Intelligent Form Reader uses optical character recognition to automatically extract data from documents into Salesforce using Amazon Textract.

- MuleSoft Composer and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
- MuleSoft Composer helps you use pre-built connectors to integrate information stored in
different systems. MuleSoft RPA combines robotics and automation to automate repetitive
manual tasks.

- Omnistudio
- Omnistudio provides a suite of services, components, and data model objects that combine
to create Industry Cloud applications. Use Omniscripts and Flexcards to create dynamic
customer interactions without code. Omnistudio Data Mappers and Integration Tools,
combined with Omniscripts and Flexcards, make it easy to pull and blend data from
Salesforce and external systems, run calculations against the data, and surface it in
context.

Examples of Features that Use Flow for Health Cloud
Here are some Health Cloud features that use one or more Flow for Health Cloud solutions.
- Utilization Management
- Utilization Management uses Omniscripts, Integration Procedures, Data Mappers, and Business Rules engine to provide a smooth, guided user interaction that empowers your users to easily handle the complex prior authorization process. - Advanced Patient Card
- The Advanced Patient Card provides a consolidated view of a patient and their clinical records using a configurable Omnistudio Flexcard. The user can create new records directly from the card. For more information, see Use the Advanced Patient Card.
- Provider Search
- Provider Search uses the Data Processing Engine to transform provider data into a format that users can search. Additionally, it provides the capability to run a data sync in production on demand. For more information, see Configure Provider Search to Help People Find Providers.
- Assessments
- Assessments use Omniscripts to create health screenings and gather patient intake information, Document Generation to generate Assessment Summaries, and Data Mappers to integrate data from previously-supplied question responses in either the Discovery Framework data model or the Health Cloud data model.
