To create referrals, the Create Referral flow gathers:
An existing patient record or one you create as part of the flow
Referring and referred to provider information
Patient member plans, existing health conditions, a diagnostic summary, and medical
information
Conditions, care facility beds, and document links associated with the referral
On the Provider Search page or the Patient Account page, click Create
Referral.
If you use the Crisis Support Center Management app, you can also create a referral from
the Bed Search component.
When you create a referral from a page with patient or provider information, the flow
prepopulates with that information.
Follow the onscreen steps in the flow.
Click Finish.
