          Configure Compliance Statements

          Create compliance statements and agreements to make sure that field reps follow regulatory standards and company policies during healthcare professional interactions.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise and Unlimited Editions with Life Sciences Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud for Customer Engagement Add-on license, and the Life Sciences Customer Engagement managed package.
          User Permissions Needed
          Create and manage compliance statement definitions and configure sharing: Customize Application
          Create and Edit access for Salesforce admins to the ComplianceStatementDefinition object: Life Sciences Commercial Admin
          Read access to the ComplianceStatementDefinition object: Life Sciences Commercial User

          Compliance statements can be informational notes or mandatory agreements that require a checkbox for acknowledgment. Salesforce captures a digital snapshot of these statements and their acknowledgment status upon visit submission for audit purposes.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select Compliance Statement Definitions.
          2. Click New and configure the statement fields.
            • Statement Text: The full text of the policy or certification.
            • Module Type: Visit.
            • Statement Type: Compliance Note for informational text or Compliance Agreement for a checkbox.
            • Statement Requirement Level: Required to block visit submission until acknowledged, Optional, or None.
            • Display Order: A number to sequence multiple statements.
            • Active: Selected.
          3. Save your changes.
          4. Use sharing rules or manual sharing to grant Read access to the relevant field users or territories.
            Users only see the statements shared with them, allowing you to target specific teams with different compliance requirements.
