          Configure the Sidebar Menu

          Use the sidebar to navigate visit activities, such as Samples and Discussions. Sidebar menu items correspond to related lists on the Visit object.

          Required Editions

          User Permissions Needed
          To manage visit settings: Life Sciences Commercial Admin permission set
          1. From Setup, open Object Manager.
          2. Select Visit and open Page Layouts.
          3. Edit the layout assigned to your field users.
          4. Add the related lists corresponding to the features that you want in the sidebar. The order of related lists determines the sidebar order.
            1. Content: Add Presentation Forums.
            2. Product Details: Add Provider Visit Product Detailings.
            3. Samples: Add Product Disbursements.
            4. Direct to Practitioner: Add Provider Visit Requested Samples.
            5. Marketing Items: Add Provider Visit Marketing Items.
            6. Attendees: Add Child Visits (labeled Attendees).
          5. Optional: Rename the related list labels to suit your users' and business needs. For example, rename Product Disbursements as Samples.
            1. From Setup, open Rename Tabs and Labels.
            2. Edit the layout assigned to your field users.
          Note
          Note The Recommendations menu appears automatically at the top if recommendations exist. You don't need to add it to the layout.
