          Integrate Salesforce Data Cloud with Advertising Sales Management

          Set up audience segments, create Lightning pages, and import audience segments to use Data Cloud with Advertising Sales Management in Media Cloud.

          Salesforce recommends that you integrate Google Ad Manager with Advertising Sales Management.

          • Create a Lightning Page to Import Salesforce Data Cloud Segments
            In the Lightning App Builder, build a Lightning Page that's used for importing Salesforce Data Cloud segments into Advertising Sales Management.
          • Create and Enable the Dataspace Custom Setting
            Set up your audience segments in Advertising Sales Management so that it can use Salesforce Data Cloud. The custom setting stores the API name of the DataSpace, which is essential for integrating and importing segments from Salesforce Data Cloud into Advertising Sales Management.
          • Set Up Target Audience in Advertising Sales Management
            Use the segments from Salesforce Data Cloud to define audience segments in Advertising Sales Management.
          • Import Audience Segments from Salesforce Data Cloud
            Bring the audience segments from Salesforce Data Cloud to Advertising Sales Management, and use these segments to target your audience while creating your media plan in Advertising Sales Management. Imported Data Cloud audience segments are also uploaded to Google Ad Manager, if you've integrated Advertising Sales Manager with the ad server.

          Create a Lightning Page to Import Salesforce Data Cloud Segments

          In the Lightning App Builder, build a Lightning Page that's used for importing Salesforce Data Cloud segments into Advertising Sales Management.

          1. Go to Settings and then click Setup.
          2. In Quick Find, enter App Builder, and click Lightning App Builder.
          3. Click New.
          4. Select App Page and then click Next.
          5. Enter a label for your page and click Next.
          6. In the left pane, select One Region and then click Finish.
          7. Drag the CDP Flexcard to the empty area in the center of the builder screen, and then click Save.
          8. Select the option to add the page to the navigation menu.

          The Lightning Page is created and can be accessed through the App Launcher to import Salesforce Data Cloud segments.

          Create and Enable the Dataspace Custom Setting

          Set up your audience segments in Advertising Sales Management so that it can use Salesforce Data Cloud. The custom setting stores the API name of the DataSpace, which is essential for integrating and importing segments from Salesforce Data Cloud into Advertising Sales Management.

          1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Settings and then select Custom Settings.
          2. Click Manage next to Media Configuration.
          3. Create a custom setting with Name as CDP_DataSpaceName, and Text Value as the API name of the DataSpace.
            Only one DataSpace name is supported in the Text Value field.

          Set Up Target Audience in Advertising Sales Management

          Use the segments from Salesforce Data Cloud to define audience segments in Advertising Sales Management.

          1. Create the targeting category Audience Targeting, with the segment Audience Segment under it.
            For the Digital media type, you can leave the AvailableValues field empty, if it doesn't already contain a label-value pair.

            See Target Ad Sales Customers with Categories and Segments.

          2. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Custom Settings and then select Custom Settings.
          3. Select sfiAdsTargetingConfiguration.
          4. Create these custom records as part of the sfiAdsTargetingConfiguration custom setting.
            gamApplicationName. Name of the Ad Manager 360 instance. A sample value for this field is GAM_Sandbox.

            gamCalloutBaseUrl.

            Base URL for the Ad Manager API calls.

            The format is callout:<named_credential_name_for_ad_manager_connection>. A sample value for this field is callout:GAM_1234567890.

            gamNamespaceUrl.

            The namespace URL for the endpoint version. The API version of the gamNamespaceUrl must match the URL field of the named credential created for the ad manager API call authentications.

            For example, if the URL in the named credential has version v202208, then the API version in the gamNamespaceUrl field must also be v202208. Make sure that you're using the latest Google Ad Manager API version. A sample value for this field is https://www.google.com/apis/ads/publisher/v202208.

            gamNetworkCode. The network code of the Google Ad Manager instance. A sample value for this field is 1234567890.

            membershipExpirationDays. The number of days a visitor remains a member of a segment before being removed for not meeting the Page Views goal. Since the audience segments from Salesforce Data Cloud are also added to Google Ad Manager, the membershipExpirationDays custom setting must be set to a value between 1 and 540 days. To set different values for the membershipExpirationDays for each segment imported from Salesforce Data Cloud, manually set the value in the audience segment page of Google Ad Manager after importing the segment data. A sample value for this field is 30.

            requestTimeout. (Optional) Timeouts could happen when API calls are made to Google Ad Manager while importing audience segments data. If this custom record is not created, or if the value is not set, then the request times out after 10 seconds, by default. The maximum allowed value for this setting is 120000 milliseconds. A sample value for this field is 120000.

          Import Audience Segments from Salesforce Data Cloud

          Bring the audience segments from Salesforce Data Cloud to Advertising Sales Management, and use these segments to target your audience while creating your media plan in Advertising Sales Management. Imported Data Cloud audience segments are also uploaded to Google Ad Manager, if you've integrated Advertising Sales Manager with the ad server.

          1. From the App Launcher, find and select CDP Segments.
          2. Click Query Segment.
            Active targeting segments in Salesforce Data Cloud are shown.
          3. Select the targeting segments that you want to import into Advertising Sales Management.
            The segments you've selected are imported into Advertising Sales Management and Google Ad Manager, if you've integration the ad server with Advertising Sales Management. The imported segments are available in the audience targeting modal of the create media plan screen, and also under Audience in your Google Ad Manager Inventory.
