Salesforce Data Cloud for Marketing collects, unifies, and enriches all your company's customer data in one place, even from data sources that don't traditionally share data with each other. Use this enriched data to build customer segments and make these segments available to Advertising Sales Management. In Advertising Sales Management, you can then use customer segments from Salesforce Data Cloud as your target audience for your media campaign, enabling you to provide more targeted advertising to your customers.
Salesforce recommends that you integrate Advertising Sales Management with Google Ad Manager.
Using the integration successfully requires coordination among several user personas. To make sure that audience segment data is shared among Salesforce Data Cloud, Advertising Sales Management, and Google Ad Manager, identify staff members who can assume these user personas:

Data Analyst. The Data Analyst works primarily with Salesforce Data Cloud for Marketing to integrate data from several sources, define segments, and let the Advertising Sales Management agent know when segment data is ready to be imported into Advertising Sales Management.

Media Planner. The Media Planner primarily works on the Advertising Sales Management Agent console. The Media Planner queries segment data from Salesforce Data Cloud for Marketing, and then imports the relevant segment data into Advertising Sales Management.

Ad Manager. The Ad Manager manages and monitors the media campaign in Google Ad Manager, and coordinates with the Media Planner to understand updates made to audience segments.
