Create a Media Opportunity
The first step in the order capture flow is to create an opportunity in Advertising Sales Management. An opportunity represents a pending deal. After you create an opportunity, you can create a media plan and submit the quote for approval.

Before You Begin
Make sure that the account is in the Active status, and that the Active flag is set to Yes.
- From Service Home, go to Accounts.
- Click the account that you want to create an opportunity for.
- If you assigned the Lightning Page to the Accounts, click the Opportunities tab, and then click New.
- Enter the opportunity information and save your changes. To learn more about managing opportunities, see Order Capture Flows in Industries CPQ.
The opportunity is created and is listed under Opportunities.
Click the opportunity to view the Opportunities Details page. On this page, you can view related tasks, create a media plan, and submit a quote for approval. See Create and Submit a Media Plan for Approval.
