Before you can install the Salesforce Billing package from Salesforce Revenue Cloud, install the Salesforce CPQ package. This is necessary because Salesforce Billing requires Salesforce CPQ components to be installed in your org. See Install or Upgrade Salesforce CPQ.

          Note
Note Ensure that you have the CpqIntegration license. Also, the Salesforce Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) package, Salesforce Industries Communications, Media, and Energy (CME) package, and the Salesforce Billing package might exhaust your org's CustomForeignKey Limit if it is less than 40. Therefore, ensure that your org has a CustomForeignKey Limit of more than 40.

          2. Choose the security level to grant to users, and click Install.
          3. Select the option to approve access to third-party websites and click Continue. You will receive an email notification after the installation is complete.
          4. Authorize the Salesforce CPQ calculator.
            1. From Setup, enter Installed Packages, and click Installed Packages.
            2. Find Salesforce CPQ and click Configure.
            3. Click the Pricing and Calculation tab.
            4. Click Authorize New Calculation Service.
          5. Assign permission set licenses to your users.
          6. Set the following Salesforce CPQ package settings under Subscriptions and Renewals: If your org uses Percent of Total products that cover assets, the PoT Renewals (Contracting from Orders) setting must not be selected. The Subscription Team Unit field must have a value of Month.
