Follow these instructions to create publications, issues, the types of periodicals you place ads in, and the ad space specifications for your print media ad placements.
- Adjust Publication Frequency Picklist Values for Print Media Placements
Advertising Sales Management comes with pre-defined Publication Frequency picklist values for print media placements. If necessary, you can add, edit, or remove picklist values for Publication Frequency. - Create Additional Periodical Types for Print Media Placements
Your Advertising Sales Management org comes with certain pre-configured periodical types for print media placements. If required, you can create additional periodical types. - Create a Publication
In Advertising Sales Management, create a publication for your print media placements. The publication can be a newspaper or magazine in which ads are placed. - Associate a Publication With Issues
You can associate your publication with a single issue or with multiple issues either while setting up your print media product records. - Create Print Media Placement Records
Create the required print media placement records for your print media ads.
