Cancel Subscription in Subscriber Lifecycle Management

Cancel Subscription in Subscriber Lifecycle Management

If subscribers want to cancel their entire subscription, you can submit a cancellation request on their behalf. Subscription cancellation isn't effective immediately. When a cancellation request is submitted, the asset status is set to Cancellation in Progress. Meanwhile, a future-dated order (FDO) is created with the date aligned to the billing cycle end date or the promo offer end date and the cancellation is effective on that date.

          Note

Pro-rata adjustment of billing isn't supported.

          1. On the Customer Interaction page, in the Subscription Details section in right pane, click Cancel Subscription.
          2. On the confirmation page, to confirm, click Confirm.
          3. The subscription is canceled. Click Back To Console to exit the workflow.

On the Customer Interaction page, the status of the subscription shows Cancellation in Progress. The status is also updated for the base package and any add-ons and services associated with the subscription. When the cancellation is effective, the canceled packages, add-ons, and services are no longer displayed in the customer's subscription.

          4. To revoke a cancellation:
            • On the Customer Interaction page, in the Subscription Details section in right pane, select the option to revoke the cancellation.

            • On the confirmation page, to confirm, click Confirm.

            • The cancellation is revoked. Click Back To Console to exit the workflow.

On the Customer Interaction page, the status of the subscription, base package and any add-ons and services associated with the subscription changes back to Active.
