          Note
Note Ensure you go through the resources on Sharing Settings before you configure the organization-wide sharing settings for Manufacturing Cloud objects. See Sharing Settings.

Organization-wide defaults are the baseline level of access to each object. For most objects, organization-wide sharing settings can be set to Private, Public Read Only, or Public Read/Write.

Internal Access applies to users who work in your company. External Access applies to users such as customer or partner users who don't work for your company and use an Experience Cloud site to collaborate with your company.

Review the recommended level of access for internal and external users. You can modify the access based on your business structure and requirements.
