Create supplier records to capture important details about the suppliers that you
procure product parts and components from. Create supplier products to relate the suppliers with
the parts that they’re supplying.
Required Editions
Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer

User Permissions Needed
To create supplier records:
Create and Edit access on Supplier
To create supplier product records:
Create and Edit access on Supplier Product
Create a supplier record.
From the App Launcher, find and select Supplier.
Click New.
Enter a name for the supplier.
Search for and select the account of the supplier.
Enter a description.
Save your changes.
Create a supplier product.
From the App Launcher, find and select Supplier Products.
Click New.
Enter a name for the supplier product.
Search for and select the supplier that you procure the product from.
Search for and select the product that you procure from the supplier.
Save your changes.
Note You can also add a supplier product to the supplier using the Related List tab on
the Supplier record.
