            Distribution and Sync of Display Object

            Sync the custom object and its fields to the CG Cloud offline mobile app. First add the custom object as a tracked object and then define the rules to sync object data to the mobile app.

            Required Editions

            Available in Lightning Experience in Enterprise, Professional, and Unlimited Editions that have Consumer Goods Cloud enabled.

            Use the Display object, with its sample data and permission settings, in the Salesforce org. Distribute and sync this new object to the Consumer Goods Cloud offline mobile app for sales reps to use on their mobile devices.

            Identify the fields for use in the CG Cloud offline mobile app, and then define those fields as relevant for the mobile app in a field set.

            Tip
            Tip A Salesforce org holds data for multiple countries or sales orgs. A mobile user or field rep typically works in one sales org per device per mobile app. This means that the field rep needs data only for their sales org. For this reason, the sales org field is ideal to filter records and limit the data to sync to the mobile device.
            • Define a Sync Rule
              To distribute the Display object to the CG Cloud offline mobile app, sync the object to the mobile device by setting up a sync rule in the Sync Management app.
