          Modify a Standard Decision Matrix by Using a CSV File

          Use a CSV file to update the data in decision matrices to save the time and effort of manually updating the data, especially if you're dealing with sizable data. When you use a CSV file to update an existing matrix version, only row data is updated.

          Required Editions

          Available in: Lightning Experience
          Available in: Enterprise, Unlimited, and Developer Editions for clouds that have Business Rules Engine enabled
          User Permissions Needed
          To create, update, and delete decision matrices and matrix versions: Rule Engine Designer
          To use decision matrices in Business Rules Engine: Rule Engine Runtime
          1. Click App explorer icon., and then find and select Business Rules Engine.
          2. Click the app navigation menu, and then select Lookup Tables.
          3. Select a decision matrix.
          4. On the Related tab of the matrix, select the version for which you want to modify the data.
          5. Click Upload CSV File | Upload Files.
          6. Select the CSV file from your computer.
          7. Select an option:
            Overwrite Duplicate Rows If the CSV file rows and the matrix version rows have the same input values but different output values, this option updates the matrix version with the output values and new rows from the CSV file.
            Import New Data Ignores rows with duplicate input values and uploads only the new rows from the CSV file.
          8. Click Upload | Done.
          9. To see the data rows, refresh the browser.
            Note
            Note If the number of rows exceeds 1,000, only the first 1,000 rows are shown. Any data errors appear in the affected cells.
