Deployment Target
The integration apps are deployed on MuleSoft CloudHub 1.0 and CloudHub 2.0. Unlike CloudHub 1.0, CloudHub 2.0 supports 12 global shared regions so that you can deploy your apps faster on a specific shared region. You can access all shared regions if you have a global deployment entitlement. If you don't have a global deployment entitlement, only those regions that are available to your org are shown. When you deploy an integration on a shared space in CloudHub 2.0, hide the parameter values in MuleSoft’s Anypoint Runtime Manager to enhance security and protect confidential information.
CloudHub 2.0 also supports private spaces, which are isolated, secured runtime environments where you can run your MuleSoft integration apps for enhanced data security. Connect your private intranet to your private space to function as a single, private network.
After you deploy the apps in your MuleSoft instance in Salesforce, extend the apps in MuleSoft Anypoint Platform based on your business needs.
- Connect Your Salesforce Org to Anypoint Platform
To discover and deploy out-of-the-box MuleSoft integrations directly from Salesforce, you must connect your Salesforce org to MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. You can set up MuleSoft Direct using one of these connection methods. - Enable Access to MuleSoft Direct Integrations
Before you connect your Salesforce and MuleSoft instances by using MuleSoft Direct, read and accept the terms and conditions of all the clouds that you’re subscribed to. Enable access to multiple clouds at once. - Enable Integrations
An integration is a prebuilt app or a configurable example. Integrations simplify the business workflow implementation by allowing external systems to easily integrate with the Salesforce Cloud apps. An integration can depend on several other apps that are necessary to complete a business use case. For example, an integration app that syncs orders between SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce Manufacturing Cloud has a related System API app to connect Salesforce to the SAP S/4HANA system. Enabling an integration configures and deploys an instance of the integration and its dependent apps in your MuleSoft instance. Enable an integration multiple times to create multiple instances of the same integration. - Re-enable a Failed Integration Instance
Re-enable a failed instance of an integration. - Delete an Integration Instance
Remove an integration instance that you no longer need from your Salesforce org and MuleSoft Runtime Manager. - Update Integrations to the Latest Version
Enable integrations access to multiple Industry Clouds that you are subscribed to, without resetting the MuleSoft instance connection. - Customize Integrations for Enhanced Functionality
Customize the prebuilt MuleSoft Direct integration apps to meet your business needs. Download the assets and its dependent assets in separate Java Archive (JAR) files, and modify them as needed. Then, deploy the updated JAR files on Anypoint Platform by replacing the existing files to apply the changes in your org. - Update Access to Integrations
Enable integrations access to multiple clouds that you are subscribed to, without resetting the MuleSoft instance connection. - Manage Connection
View the details of a saved connection, edit a connection to change the authentication settings required to connect to an external system, or delete a connection. - Extend Your Integration App
After deploying an integration app in your MuleSoft instance, you can extend the app in MuleSoft Anypoint Studio to meet your end-to-end business needs. - View Integrations in Private Exchange
If you have developed and published your own integrations in your MuleSoft instance, you can view the integrations in Private Exchange. - Reset MuleSoft Instance Connection
Resetting the MuleSoft instance connection disconnects the MuleSoft instance from Salesforce, and you’ll no longer be able to view the published integrations in your Salesforce org. After you reset, the deployed integrations are available only in the MuleSoft instance. - Disable Access to MuleSoft Direct Integrations
Decline the terms and conditions to remove access to MuleSoft Integrations.
